Over 50% of the rural Cambodian population have no access to safe, clean water.

The Love Export VIII team spent 13 days in Siem Reap, Cambodia last December (2015).

With the funds raised, the team brought 45 ceramic water filters for the villagers living in the Buffalo Village and Rel Village.

Villagers who received the filters drew on postcards to show their appreciation to our donors.

The team also funded and installed a UV water filtration system for Sok's Orphanage

where we conducted English lessons and interactive learning activities for the children over 4 days.

A dialogue session, the main highlight of our trip, was held in Build Bright University, a local university in Siem Reap

to discuss about sustainable community development with the Cambodian high school and university students.

To allow the local students to better relate to the topics discussed, we brought them to volunteer at Sunrise Cambodia & Sok's Orphanage with us.

The LE VIII team would like to sincerely thank all sponsors and supporting organisations for making this trip a success. :)
