LOVE EXPORT VIII

Love Export is a Youth Expedition Project (YEP), the only overseas project, under the NUS Students' Community Service Club. The project aims not only to service through sustainable community projects to the hosting villages, but also to promote experiential learning among members.

Local Pre & Post-Trip Projects

To allow us to better understand and interact with elderly, we will be organizing local activities for the elderly at care corners and making home visits to the elderly who live alone, prior to the trip.

Activities to share about our project and raise awareness for the elderly living alone in Singapore will also be organised after the trip so keep a look-out for our updates to join us in action!

*Overseas and Local projects by Love Export VIII (2015/2016) will be ongoing from Aug 2015 to Mar 2016, with the trip to Cambodia in Dec 2015.

#LoveExportVIII

Overseas Project

This year, Love Export VIII will be spending around 2 weeks in Siem Reap, Cambodia, visiting the Buffalo Village, Sok's Cambodian Children Orphanage, Hun Sen Watsvay High School and the Rel Village. The team will also be conducting a dialogue session with undergraduates from Build Bright University, the biggest university in Siem Reap, to discuss about sustainable community development.

We will be raising funds to bring portable ceramic filters for the Buffalo Village and the Rel Village, a UV water filtration system for Sok's Orphanage and a series of learning/cultural activities for the village children/elderly.
